What's Behind the Hooley ?
The Inside Story!
The Annual Denison Hooley came to life in late 2007. It was created by the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Denison.
The board had two objectives. 1) To create a fund raising event to generate much need money to help continue all of the great programs that the Boys and Girls Club of Denison offers. 2) To offer a new event that will benefit the area and provide a fun, energetic and unique evening of entertainment for those looking for a St. Patrick's Day celebration!
All proceeds from the Denison Hooley will go directly to the Boys and Girls Club of Denison for many of the programs we offer.
The Boys and Girls Club of Denison:
Mission- The Boys & Girls Club of Denison is a youth development organization for boys and girls ages 5-19. The primary mission of the Club is to inspire and enable all young people especially those that need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
A Safe Place To Learn and Grow:
One of the core beliefs of the Club is that kids need a place to learn and grow. The Club is staffed by adult professionals trained in upholding positive standards of conduct with genuine care for each child. The staff closely monitors the activities at or away from the Club.
